What Kind of Warranty do your Pull-Outs Have?
What Happens If a Pull-Out Shelf Ever Needs Service?
When homeowners invest in custom pull out shelves, one question occasionally comes up:
"What happens if something ever goes wrong?"
It's a fair question.
Like any mechanical product, drawer slides and soft-close hardware can occasionally require a minor adjustment after years of everyday use. The important difference isn't whether something might eventually need attention—it's whether the company that installed it will still be there to help.
Recently, I received a call from a customer whose custom drawer beneath their cooktop had been installed about two years ago. The drawer was no longer soft closing as smoothly as it should.
After inspecting it, I found that the drawer guides simply needed a minor adjustment. A few minutes later, I tested the drawer several times to make sure the soft-close mechanism was working perfectly again.
It was.
The customer expected to pay for a service call.
Instead, I smiled and said, "There's no charge. It's covered under our lifetime warranty."
He was genuinely surprised—and very appreciative.
At Kitchens Alive, we believe a warranty should be more than words printed on paper. It should mean that if you need us, we'll be there.
That's one reason we've been installing custom pull out shelves, rollouts, and custom pullouts for homeowners throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area for more than 30 years. We build our shelves to last, but when a customer needs us, we stand behind every installation.
If you're considering upgrading your existing cabinets, choose a company that doesn't just install quality products—it stands behind them for years to come.
